I know a lot of us take time in customizing our wallpaper, widgets etc so lets share what we come up with.
First i'd like to thank 928Droid for making the awesome picture frame, that can be found here --> Nexus One Screen Capture "Picture Frame"
Here are directions on how to take a screen shot with your nexus one with out rooting. It seems like a lot at first but it really isn't much once you take it step by step.
Instructions can be found Here
Files you'll need:
Android SDK
Java SE Development Kit (JDK) 6 Update 18
Notes:
If you follow the instructions and launch the DDMS.bat file and a dos prompt flashes and nothing opens, it's because drivers for your N1 device is not installed on your computer. Go into the device manager and right click on the N1, select update drivers and point it to the android-sdk-windows\usb_driver folder.
Once your in the Dalvik Debug Monitor the screen shot option will be greyed out until the software finishes loading what ever it needs to. It took mine a good 30 seconds to finish loading.
